Willing To Learn

🤓 Sometimes we are too smart for our own good, myself included! We think we need to know everything or even worse,  think we already know everything we need to know in order to be successful or respected. The truth is WE DON'T!

☎️ I recently had a conversation with a family member that I haven't spoken to in years. We spoke for over two hours and it was good to catch up. Later in the week as I reflected on the conversation I remember saying "I just learned something" a lot! and that is what triggered me to write this post!

✨ YEP!!! That's right!!! Lady Hart learned something!  A few things actually but that is beside the point.  

⭐ We all want to be successful in our endeavors whether personal or professional... As a mother, wife, First Lady, & business owner I know I do!  Even though I consider myself to be at a good level of understanding, one of the things I found out early, is that I need help as a mother, wife, First Lady, and business owner! Believe it or not, the best way to get that help is to ask somebody!

👩‍🎓 Successful people become successful by learning how to do things right!

Are you sabotaging your own success by not allowing those who know more than you to help you?  

👩‍🎓Successful people don't know everything, they continue learning new things!

Are you limiting your growth by refusing to learn new information and new processes? 

LISTEN: We don't know what we don't know... that's why it is good to stay open to learning especially when it comes to your business. 

😅I always tell myself "If I want to go where the big dogs go I got to know what the big dogs know!" And then I look up who's a "Big Dog"  and invest in myself by learning from them.

⌛We take on too much and waste way too much time trying to figure things out on our own when there are plenty of people who have been there, done that, and do it better than most out there. All we have to do is find them and ask! 

📚I am shameless when it comes to a few things, one of them being my education because I know God wants more for me. So when I ask for help I hope you don't think that I am trying to be condescending. I genuinely want to learn. That is what has gotten me to this point. 

• Mother of 3 daughters (No drugs, alcohol, prison, or babies yet) 
• Married 26 years to the same man 
• A business owner since 1999 (haven't worked a 9 - 5 since) 
• Pastoring as a "First Lady" since 2005 

🎖️I am not boasting but I am happy with my life and I don't mind saying that out loud. 
It is a privilege to learn and be educated! People of color have not always had that privilege so yes I have the audacity to learn!  

• I have learned a lifetime of lessons regarding marriage and family.
• I have learned a lifetime of lessons regarding business & entrepreneurship 
• I have learned a lifetime of lessons regarding being a "Pastors Wife"

I have successfully survived every single lesson taught.
I stand ready to help & teach.
